The Beanbag project is slowly getting back on it's rickety feet beacause two comrades are helping with this charity.
One is Len Wallace, a fellow man that had a rare heart condition and the second is Tom Mauer who will be lettering the comic now (since the last one has vanished.
Now with a solid plan, the Beanbag will be done before you know it.

Update
It's October and the Beanbag comic is not doing so well.
At this point it may need a few pages, and a well drawn cover.
After that is sorted out. Well... it may be finally done and published!

The Beanbag being pushed backed
Due to the fact that I will be trying to assemble a team of top named artists to join the comic project. The Beanbag comic won't be done anytime soon. Since it's a fact that the summer time is a busy time of year becuase of the summer movies, pitching scripts and ideas, and comic conventions. I won't be asking anyone to join till late August. But when I do, there will be an even more gap of time for these artists to draw out the pages, ink, and then have them all lettered.
The wait for the book will be even longer but hopefully it will be worth it.

Block of Bad News
First I would like to say that a good Face book friend and Beanbag contributer Dave Simons has passed away.
There is something going around saying that the Beanbag comic is a scam, I can tell you now that it is not true, It is very real.
And I have lost alot of artists so I am down to about 20 guest artists and I need more to contribute.
Is there good news? no not really and not anything that can out way the bad news.
I would also like to say that TopShelf is not publishing the Beanbag. I still have to send a twenty page submission like everyone else.

Yes, the Beanbag comic may as well have it's final wrap up due date in the middle of June for there are not only many people not done with their page, but there are many more people that are joining. Thus making the comic bigger and better.

Wrap up
In only two and a half weeks the Beanbag will be wrapping up and soon it will be published.
Mr.Gibbons is working on his page and everything is coming together.
I might post up some more art before it all ends though.

After counting the pages up, I have about 21 pages in general and 17 pages done by guest artists. Although, my goal is to get about 25 guest pages.
In other news, The intro pages to the comic are almost done, and the team will soon be working on the guest pages one by one. I hope to post more images soon.

Welcome to The Beanbag Blog
Hello, and welcome to the Beanbag Blog!
The Beanbag is an upcoming comic by Stephan Lapin about the extraordinairy adventures of Beanbag, a 5th-dimensional creature that our minds can only comprehend as the cutesy humanoid blob we all know and love.
Using his ability to travel throughout the 5th dimension, Beanbag can travel between time, space, and "multiverses" at will. These "multiverses" will be represented by the different styles used by many different guest artists, resulting in a huge variety of art all while retaining a quirky style of humor.
"Beanbag," of course, will always be drawn the same throughout these pages, allowing for an amusing contrast between his cartoony style and the realistic or exaggerated world of the guest artist's around him.
Coming sometime the end of this year! The proceeds will benefit the transplant wing at Boston Children's Hospital, where Stephan has received 2 hearts.
